Job Description

BCS Field Engineer Are you looking to take a step into Network Engineering? Here at Excell Group we have a fantastic opportunity for someone to be fully trained in Network Engineering and move on to secure Cisco or Juniper certifications. Full training is provided and would suit a fresh graduate or a trainee with a years experience You will be paired with an experienced Network Engineer to support the Fixed Networks Delivery and Operational teams in delivering first class managed solutions to our clients. The role will include field and in-house duties based around the London area Key Responsibilities * Site visits after initial triage by our operations team. * Installation of managed services to our customers. * Technologies include WAN, LAN, Internet, WAN Optimisation, MPLS, Colocation, SIP Trunking, Security, WiFi. Any experience in these areas would be advantageous but not essential. Skills/Knowledge/Understanding * Excellent listening skills and clear concise verbal and written skills. * Excellent customer service approach. * Excellent organisation skills. Personal Attributes * Self-motivated and keen to increase own levels of experience and training. * Solution focused and flexible approach to problem-solving. * Ability to work as part of a team and to use their own initiative. * Able to prioritise workload and manage regular interruptions to remain productive.
