Maternity cover contract from September 2020 to June 2021 Do you want to use your skills in strategic thinking and leadership to promote a culture of client involvement, diversity and inclusion at St Mungo's? About the role You will lead on the development and/or implementation of the Client Involvement and Diversity and Inclusion Strategies at St Mungo's. You will also lead a high-performing team of five (directly line managing the Involvement and Inclusion Manager) to: * Involve clients in all our work. * Achieve an inclusive culture where our clients, staff and volunteers feel valued, like they belong and are able to be their authentic selves. * Take responsibility for monitoring, interpreting and advising on involvement and inclusion regulatory or legislative requirements and ensuring compliance. * Support teams and managers and lead change in empowerment, involvement and inclusion across St Mungo's. What we're looking for A strategic leader with experience of delivering organisational change through positively challenging and inspiring practice change in others. You will have an understanding of legislation, research and different approaches to client involvement, diversity and inclusion. You will be able to apply this understanding in advising others, overseeing a programme of training, analysing data, writing reports for the Board and leadership team and implementing appropriate plans and strategies. Most importantly you will have deeply held commitment to building an inclusive culture at St Mungo's for all our clients, staff and volunteers. St Mungo's contribute 4% of your gross annual salary, and you are able to enrol in the Defined Contribution scheme following a successful probationary period in which the employer contribution is 6%.
