Job Description
Static Facilities Manager (Mechanical) - Milton Keynes This role is based on a mixed use site of around 40 acres, incorporating a high level corporate business HQ and a large warehouse and distribution function. With a wide variety of building services plant on site, including 2 data centres, 5 generators, 2 UPS and 6 HV transformers, this role would suit someone from a mechanical HVAC background. Reporting into the account manager and working alongside the electrical facilities manager on a 12 hour, 4 on 4 off shift pattern, you'll oversee the running of the site and engineers to ensure reactive and planned maintenance is carried out in accordance with SFG20. For a commercially gas qualified manager, there will be the opportunity to earn overtime on your days off, if you want it. Currently any gas repair work and servicing is carried out by utilising mobile engineers. Enjoying a good relationship with the client built up over several years, this role is varied and interesting, with no two days the same and although the building is some 40 years old, the client has invested considerably over the years to keep it updated.
