Job Description As the Regional Sales Director, you will report to the Chief Revenue Officer and be responsible for building, directing and managing a focused effort for all Account Managers and Account Executives in your Region with responsibility for revenue growth. You will also function as the lead for the PubNub London Office. As a key member of the sales leadership team, you will be responsible for contributing to the strategic direction and planning for company go-to-market efforts. You are able to think "big picture" to actively identify strategic direction but are also willing to roll up your sleeves to ensure we achieve our goals. This is a high visibility role in a dynamic, startup company, ideal for a leader that wants to be a key part of building a high-performing sales team. Responsibilities * Establish and track goals and objectives with members of your team and perform quarterly reviews * Hire and manage a high-performing regional sales team * Manage regular sales forecasts, metrics reviews and QBRs * Ensure your team leverages all sales automation, funnel management and prospecting tools to accurately forecast sales activity and revenue achievement * Grow the EMEA territory with regular travel to large opportunities and prospects in the region Experience * Proven track record negotiating and closing complex Enterprise wide agreements. Experience navigating through multiple decision makers and influencers and experience managing teams doing the same. * 7+ years in success selling large dollar infrastructure software or platform solutions to Enterprises. * Proven track record of leading teams to achieve verifiable customer revenue expansion and profit maximization in a quota driven business environment. * Experience with cloud computing business models and enjoy selling to a technical audience and building mutual trust. * Proficient in Salesforce.com for tracking activity, pipeline and revenue metrics. * Experience with value-based sales process and capability to build ROI as part of your sales methodology. * Solution-oriented and consultative approach to selling, ensuring your customers receive value from the products they buy. * World-class interpersonal and communication skills. Ability to effortlessly make complex contractual, technical, and financial details sound simple. * Ability to balance competing priorities and manage multiple projects/deals at the same time. * Ethical.
