Job Title: Chefs of All Levels - Country Hotel Job Term: Permanent Location: Near Burnley, Lancashire Salary: £18-26,000 Hours: Full Time Live in: Yes Job Number: 20-00111 This Country Hotel near Burnley are looking to recruit Chefs from Commis Chef up to Junior Sous Chef level. Our client are expanding their team and are looking for experienced Chefs to join thier brigade. With a Restaurant serving an A la Carte Menu with Bistro style food. A relaxed Bar area serving light bites and 3 private functions rooms. This is the perfect venue for guests to meet and enjoy a special event or just catching up with friends over a meal. You must be confident working in a fast paced environment and work well under pressure. Due to the high number of events this establishment holds, experience in Banqueting is preferred. What we need from you? The successful candidate will have the following skills/experience: * Must have proven relevant kitchen experience in a similar position, working in all areas of the kitchen, working in a high volume, multi-outlet, high quality venue. * Good communication and interpersonal skills, both written and oral, able to build effective relationships with, and relate to people at all levels and with diverse backgrounds. * The ability to manage and motivate staff as part of a team often under pressure, and to priorities workload to deliver a high quality service. * Must have City and Guilds 706 - 1 & 2 or NVQ 1, 2, & 3 or catering equivalent qualifications.
