Job Title: Head Chef - Country Inn Job Term: Permanent Location: Near Burnley, Lancashire Salary: £35,000 Hours: 48 hours a week Live in: Yes Job Number: 20-00012 This 25 bedroom Inn near Burnley are looking for an experienced Head Chef. A popular establishment to meet with friends and family or to hold your celebration. With a traditional bar serving real ales, wine and spirts, a brasseries and pub dining area. Along side this are three private functions rooms which are perfect for guests to celebrate special events. The Brasserie and Pub Dining offers a perfect combination of traditional classics, Chef Specials and eclectic mix of modern British dishes, fused with influences from around the world. Within the brasserie stands a custom-built ageing unit, housing the 35-day dry aged ribs of beef, and a gin bar - a perfect place to start your evening with an aperitif. The restaurant's décor varies throughout the dining area giving it a unique identity - while retaining an atmosphere of casual dining. The main bar has a real country pub ambience, with it spaciousness layout, stone floors, hand-warming wood burning stove and smaller more intimate seating areas. What we need from you? - Maintaining the day to day running of the kitchen. - Liaising with purchasing companies for food orders - Managing and training Junior Chefs in the team to ensure high culinary standards - Developing new dishes and menus - Ensuring you and your team have high standards of food hygiene and follow the rules of health and safety - Maintaining or raising the profit margins on food Experience Required: -Minimum 2 years as Head Chef in a similar establishment -Previous experience working in a high volume establishment is required -Experience in banqueting is essential, which three functions rooms seating up to 300 guests Apply for this position below (You must be eligible to work in the UK)
