" Role Profile Drive a culture based on nuclear safety and quality throughout the supply chain and within the team. Typical Deliverables \t * Delivery of Procurement plan to support the Integrated Master Schedule \t * Delivery of Budget / Savings and Cash flow targets \t * Creation, management and delivery of Category strategies in line with the telent Procurement process and utilising telent leverage when dealing with suppliers to gain commercial advantage \t * Lead and implement Optimisation plans for the category \t * Management of Supplier due diligence (PQQ, RFQ etc...) \t * Regular Supplier Performance Reviews with key suppliers \t * Lead commercial / contractual negotiation for effective flow down of relevant Terns & Conditions \t * Reporting, monitoring and addressing of supplier performance including contractual obligations \t * Management of tender programme in line with the agreed Procurement plan \t * Support continuous improvement activities in line with Nuclear Safety Culture principles Responsibilities \t * Sourcing competent and compliant suppliers/product \t * In partnership with telent Group Procurement, provide support of the procurement continuous improvement agenda, ensuring an aligned approach on the development of solutions that benefits both telent and the Project, and advocating same through appropriate levels of support and constructive challenge to enable optimum results. \t * Maintaining a robust framework for supplier management which sets clear targets and measurement for evaluation and maximises the relationship with external partners in order to drive cost efficiency and mitigate risks to the project. \t * Partnership with internal stakeholders to ensure policies and processes are aligned, for project area and procurement best practices are adhered and support our contractual deliverables and requirements. \t * Working with key functions such as Quality and Compliance to ensure Supply Chain compliance to both industry and critical environment requirements \t * Planning Audits assessments pre and during contract timeline \t * Assessment, quantification and management of risks in head contract terms by negotiating appropriate supplier flow-down contracts. \t * Due diligence and pre-qualification of proposed subcontractors for customer approval \t * Drafting and negotiating pragmatic and appropriate contractual agreements with suppliers \t * Delivering a programme, which ensures all required sub-contracts and / or supply agreements are placed in line with agreed implementation schedules. \t * Ensuring the implementation of a sustainable supply chain aligned to key principles of collaboration, continual service improvement and innovation. \t * Use of the Oracle i-procurement system to ensure effective management of contract / framework agreements and PO placement within their delegated level of authority Business Operations Skills - Experience \t * Have drafted, distributed and managed high value, critical risk scope tenders and procurement activities in an engineering / technology led environment preferably within ICT / Telecoms \t * Set up criteria and processes for monitoring Supplier Performance \t * Have led Commercial/Contractual Negotiation to contract signature within an engineering / technology led environment preferably within ICT / Telecoms \t * Have managed complex supply chain contracts \t * Performing due diligence assessments of Subcontractor / Suppliers financial ability, QEHS and sustainable procurement \t * Performance of Supplier selection and demonstration of commercial evaluations based on technical scopes of the tender \t * Being involved in gated governance Business Operations Skills - Qualifications \t * Degree / MCIPS qualified or 5-7yrs relevant experience as per the requirements above \t * Must be able to demonstrate a similar procurement role in either an engineering / technology led environment preferably within ICT / Telecoms \t * Can demonstrate or understands the procurement / supply chain role in a highly regulated environment e.g. Nuclear, Military & Defence, Utilities, Petro Chemical, Automotive, Aerospace or CNI (Critical National Infrastructure) environments.
