As the Head of New Product Planning you will lead the New Products Team to provide cross-functional input into the Pipeline, early IPS plans (including patient journey), Global Value and Access Teams and AMEIT 2.0 in order to ensure quality strategic insight that will result in launch success for the UK. Whilst providing strategic input into pre-launch product teams and ensure early IPS plans to address key health care system requirements for market access and launch of new products across disease areas. Your key responsibilities: Your responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Leadership and representation of early product planning in UK across RE and ROW Responsible for UK early product planning process and its continuous evolution to ensure the UK maintains its role as a critical influencer in early product strategic development. Lead early Health Care System engagement ensuring early discussions with key partners (Payor, patient and HCP)) to understand local needs and assist in co-creation of local and global strategy Partner with medical and HEOR to support Integrated Evidence reviews for all priority molecules and development of data generation plans to support market access strategies Lead cross-functional overview and subsequent prioritisation of early pipeline molecules Primary point of contact with the Global New Products Directors, V&ATs and Global Brand Teams Responsible for the flawless transfer of molecules to Business Franchise Integrated Brand Teams with completion of qualitative and quantitative patient journey and early IPS plan Monitors and controls expenditure of New Product spending, in line with agreed budget including the management of early launch global projects \n\n\n\n Position Title: Head of New Product Planning Minimum requirements: What you'll bring to the role: University degree in Medicine, Pharmacy, Life Sciences, Business, Marketing or Clinical Research Experience in early product strategic development, senior stakeholder engagement, people management and leadership of cross-functional teams. Experience of working with the NHS and NICE on commercialisation of new pharmaceuticals products. Understanding of the development pathway of new compounds and the importance of optimising the clinical development plan.
