Aucerna and the global HR team are seeking an HR Manager for our EMEA region. The HR Manager will report to the Vice President Global Human Resources and have considerable influence over the HR leadership of the entire EMEA region. This is a London, UK based position. Why Consider this Role? You will be responsible for managing and supporting the full range of human resources operations within Aucerna's EMEA region, including but not limited to UK, Spain, Netherlands, Kuwait, UAE. You will provide guidance and coaching to all levels of the organization regarding employee relations, performance management, global mobility, recruitment, compensation and benefits. The ideal candidate will have a passion for driving people strategies that influence and foster a positive culture and work environment and possesses the ability to work both independently and collaboratively. What you'll do: * Enable the successful implementation of human resources strategies and policies to ensure global alignment in parallel with competing local pressures * Consult with the Vice President, HR on issues including organizational plans, succession plans, company policies and legal issues * Partner with regional business leaders to identify, prioritize and build organizational capabilities in line with the business and culture strategy * Enable employee mobility by providing recommendations for relocation support, obtaining proper work permits / visas in partnership with employees and managers * Determine and recommend employee relations practices necessary to establish positive employee relations and promote a high level of employee morale and engagement * Provide HR guidance and expertise to facilitate resolution of employee relations issues. Identify and partner with internal and external resources to assist in addressing issues * Lead regional process implementation of the annual compensation and benefits programs * Implement best practices, process optimization and embrace ongoing change and development; serving as a change agent for company-wide initiatives * Assist with recruiting activities to support the business objectives of all business units * Ownership of the annual review process, providing support to region to facilitate a smooth process. * Keep abreast of employment law matters in regions to ensure the company maintains compliance. * As a growing company, M&A can be a feature of the role. What you bring: * Bachelor's degree and 10+ years Human Resources experience, OR appropriate combination of education and experience * Level 7 CIPD certification preferred * Previous HR experience with a global company and creating a unified employee experience * Demonstrated knowledge of UK employment law; knowledge of EU employment law would be a definite asset * Expertise or significant experience in one or more of the following specialties would be a definite asset: * Performance management and employee relations * Talent Acquisition * HRIS / HR systems * Talent management including development plans, succession planning, discipline etc. * M&A * Proven decision-making ability, both in collaboration with colleagues and independently as required * Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to adapt communication style to all levels of an organization * Demonstrated HR project management experience * Ability to build and nurture strong relationships with local and virtual team members, including a remote reporting relationship * Comfortable in a fast-paced and evolving environment which includes ongoing learning and training opportunities * A valid passport with no impediments to international travel The Team At Aucerna Live And Work By A Set Of Values That Define Who We Want To Be And How We Want To Operate Aucerna is the world leading provider of Integrated Strategy, Planning and Reserves solutions for the Oil and Gas Industry.
