Overview
Job Description
Working as part of a small team, the Retail Manager will take a leading role within our company. In addition to being a strong sales person, you will be able to demonstrate team management and motivational skills. You will be expected to help improve all internal procedures and policies to create a productive and creative working environment. You will also play an integral part in refining our sales process to ensure we are maximising the potential of our inbound sales leads. Key Responsibilities: * Driving sales. Converting warm leads through exceptional customer service in person, via email and over the phone * Managing and developing the team through motivation, product knowledge and support * Generating customer quotes * Ordering stock from our suppliers * Managing tenders * Initiatives and projects that will maximise sales and operational improvements * Improving our internal procedures and policies * Reaching and exceeding agreed sales targets and goals * May be assigned other duties, in addition to, or in lieu of those described above to ensure the smooth and efficient running of the business. Working Tuesday-Saturday Requirements The Candidate * Sales experience (essential) * Previous managerial experience (essential) * Keen interest in cycling (preferred) * Exceptional organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise work * Customer focused with good attention to detail * Excellent communicating and listening skills * Desire to assist the company in achieving its goals * Proven ability to manage a team * Confident, polite and approachable * 3-year checkable history * You must be eligible to work in the UK * Must be physically fit Benefits Workplace Pension Cycle to Work Scheme 28 days holiday (inclusive of bank holidays) Casual dress code Staff discounts
