Job Description
Job Title: Warehouse Supervisor Location: Burnley Salary: £20,000 - £25,000 + Excellent Benefits The Company: Due to sustained growth and a recent acquisition, our client is looking to recruit a number of Warehouse Supervisors to join their team. You will be part of a team that is really changing the way the company services its customers and will have access to the latest distribution systems to support you in your role. The Role: As the Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for the efficient management of a team of operatives within a fast-paced warehouse operation. You will be required to coach, mentor, and develop a team of warehouse colleagues, whilst ensuring that health and safety standards are adhered to whilst on shift. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will also be required to; * Manage and motivate the team to maximise productivity * Ensure daily and weekly KPI's are maintained * Providing a high standard of operational reports to senior management relating to shift performance. * Ensure Change Management and Continuous Improvement Projects are delivered on time through excellent communication. * Most importantly, up skilling your team through coaching and development techniques. The Candidate: Experience within a similar supervisory or management experience is required to be considered for this role, ideally within a retail, e-comm or manufacturing operation. The ability to manage change and be decisive is crucial as this a fast paced warehouse. You will need to manage productivity through the use of management reports and clearly communicate performance metrics to your team, whilst managing labour hours inline with demand.
