Operations Manager

Job Title: Operations Manager Location: Burnley Salary: £35,000 - £40,000 + Excellent Benefits The Company: Tom Samuel Recruitment have been appointed to recruit an Operations Manager for a leading distributor of high value consumer products who offer a broad range of supply chain services to their customers. The Role: You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient management of a fast-paced, dynamic warehouse operation, working to challenging KPI's and SLA's within a multi-customer operation. You will be responsible for all aspects of; People, Resource management, Inventory, and H&S. You will be required to coach, mentor, and develop a multi-functional team of supervisors and warehouse colleagues across all departments. Additional responsibilities include; * Management of on-site Resource vs. Budget. * Providing a high standard of operational reports relating to DC performance. * Supporting Change Management and Continuous Improvement Projects. * Being proactive in finding solutions to potential operational issues. The Candidate: To be considered for this Operations Manager role, you must have experience working within a fast-paced, 'Big Shed' environment, within the Retail / E-commerce sector. You must have a naturally engaging style along with the ability to understand data and proactively manage resource across the various warehouse departments, making quick decisions and proactively dealing with any issues that may arise.
