Job Description

You will have delegated responsibility for a range of Health Improvement work areas within North East locality, Glasgow City HSCP. This post sits within the early years sub-team and is responsible for progressing financial inclusion and anti-poverty work streams. You will be responsible for establishing and sustaining links with key partners and stakeholders to effect change. The post holder will project manage activity, in partnership with partner organisations and communities and will deliver additional health improvement activity commensurate with the pay band. You should have a degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline with experience of working in health improvement, public health or a relevant health/health improvement arena at Band 4 or above. Experience of data interpretation and analysis skills and an ability to apply the evidence base to practice is desirable. The hours of this post are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm some occasional evening and weekend working may be required to meet the needs of the service.
