A specialist brand new state of the art supported living (18 individual flats) in New Milton is recruiting for LD Support Workers to help provide care and support for the adults with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs. LD Support Workers are committed to enabling the people they support to live the lives they want; lives which are fulfilling, meaningful and happy. The ideal LD Support Worker you will have bags of passion while always considering the resident's choices, their views and respecting their independence. We are looking for people who can work between 24-42 hours on a permanent contract. As a LD Support Worker your duties will include: * Day to day support including medicine * Helping them in the flats e.g. cooking, cleaning, watching tv * Accessing the community e.g. shopping, going to cinema, other activities * Personal care * Dealing with challenging behaviour * Non-verbal communication What are we looking for in a LD Support Worker?
