Job Description Our expert team in Belfast are looking for an Asset Verification Officer to join the legal function within Depositary. You will be responsible for the asset verification for investment funds investing in private equity, real estate, infrastructure, renewable energy, forestry and other asset classes. Day-to-day your role will involve sourcing and reviewing high volume complex documentation to ensure that investment funds have good legal title over the assets in which they invest; you will develop an understanding of risk factors across each asset class and/or the location of assets. Understanding the legal frameworks under which assets are held, and developing a working knowledge of AIFMD will be central to the role. This is the ideal opportunity for a team player with strong commercial awareness and business acumen. You will be challenged by the fast-paced environment, and thrive on delivering to tight deadlines while ensuring excellent attention to detail.
