The Income department is an integral part of the Capital Markets and Banking operations responsible for reconciliation, collection and payment of all income derived from equity and fixed income products. The department interacts closely with our client base, prime finance desk, trading floor, financial control, tax operations as well as the other operations departments across the globe. The role entails ensuring that all dividend and coupon Income derived from client and broker activity are paid and received in a timely manner. All entries must be appropriately recorded and reconciled in the bank's books and records. The job ensures that the operational risk of the business is appropriately managed, issues are escalated and problems dealt with accurately and on a timely basis. **Responsibilities:** + Manage 'day to day' responsibilities for coupon and dividend processing across markets globally. + Ensuring that all payment and internal deadlines are met, exceptions are reviewed/actioned and all internal/external client queries are resolved. + To ensure prioritisation and resolution of high-risk items and escalating problems to senior levels when necessary. + To minimise losses and errors across your lines of responsibility, using consistently high standards of processes and controls. + Help to create and build an environment of teamwork and encourage two-way communication while also providing a high level of customer service. + Meeting all Control and Compliance requirements, as well as carrying out mandatory training and regular review of procedures as required. Documenting changes in process as well as new processes. + Being fully aware of information security requirements, complying with the clear desk policies and ensuring that all documentation is destroyed or securely locked at end of each day. There must be a particular focus on security of customer confidentiality and controls in identifying customers when dealing with inbound requests. **Knowledge/Experience:** + Ability to work in a high volume-processing environment and add value to multiple projects/priorities. + An interest and general understanding of the financial services industry + Understanding of fixed income and equity products. + Familiarity with FCA Client Money regulations for the protection and segregation of client funds is desirable. **Education:** + Bachelor's/University degree or equivalent experience _Exceptional candidates who do not meet these criteria may be considered for the role provided they have the necessary skills and experience._ **What we Offer** As well as a competitive salary and consideration for a yearly discretionary bonus Citi offer; + 23 days paid annual leave + Award winning pension scheme, + Life assurance and + Private medical insurance with Bupa healthcare.
