The Market Development Manager's role is crucial to Zoovu's growth targets. The role will combine your knowledge of retail, ecommerce, marketing know-how, tech and salesmanship. What Zoovu does? It's simple. If you can't find the right laptop, facial cream or washing machine, you can't buy it. That's the problem we're solving for more than 2.500 businesses and millions of consumers worldwide, every second. Our industry-leading conversational search platform allows business users to create, configure, design, monitor and optimize digital sales assistants. Like a sales person in a store, those "virtual sales people" help consumers find the right product through a natural conversation. Both leading enterprise businesses such as Amazon, Miele or MediaMarkt as well as small and medium-sized retailers and brands use Zoovu to help their customers, increase online sales, improve their CX, and gain valuable consumer insights. Requirements We are looking for a confident, tenacious, and energetic personality who can think strategically and create momentum within large and complex organizations - and do so with flair, passion and a good sense of humour. You'll be someone who isn't afraid to pick up the phone, establish, cultivate, and maintain relationships with leadership level contacts. Additionally, you'll be someone who understands how to personalize your outreach. Responding to Marketing Campaigns and Account Based Marketing, you will successfully create 'the need' to raise awareness and get our industry-changing tech on to the buying agenda. Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Systems Engineering or a related qualification Your responsibilities: * Pipeline generation * Demonstrate value proposition of our products and services to key industry prospects * Qualify and book appointments with key decision makers within target * Champion key industry events and help manage the pre, during, and post event process in collaboration with Marketing accounts for the Sales team * Be creative and find ways we can target ourprospects to get their attention Your profile: * University or equivalent education (preferred but not essential) * 1 years' sales experience * Excellent communication/ interpersonal skills * Entrepreneurial, highly self-motivated, goal orientated, fearless, ambitious, team player * Record of achievements that demonstrate you have a winning attitude * Demonstrated strong work ethic, ability to learn quickly, and be a self-starter What you can expect from Zoovu: This is an exciting opportunity that offers a variety of challenges with huge scope for progression.
