Job Description
Position: Supported Living Staff Members (Permanent) Salary: £10.50 per hour Locations: Timperley Support Your Community & The NHS to Stop the Virus: We need people to support the NHS & their community by aiding people to leave hospital and be cared for in their own home. Compassionate Care is URGENTLY seeking passionate & caring people to join our team as Supported Living Staff Members. Our Mission is to raise the bar on care standards, supporting people to 'live' & not just exist The Role: As a Supported Living Staff Member with us you will be caring for adult clients in their own home who have recently been discharged from hospital in the Timperley area of Greater Manchester. Your aim, as a Supported Living Staff Member with us, is to allow them to recover and be supported in their own home - this will free up NHS beds at this critical time. What We Offer Our Care Assistants: > £10.50 per hour > 42 hours per week > We are hiring 4 people - once everyone is in place the rota pattern will be as follows: > 2 x 8am till 8pm shift > 1 x 8pm till 8am shift > 1 x 8pm till 8am shift > Then 4 days off - Permanent contract - Full training - Protective equipment (full PPE to ensure you are safe at work) We are looking for people: Experience - you must have worked in Care and ideally with complex needs Ideally you will be epilepsy trained, though if not we will train you Reliable & trustworthy (this role involves personal care and medication) Not afraid of a challenge & hard work or phased by by high-pressure environments Who do not wait to be told, self-starters who look for work & the next task With natural empathy to ensure clients stay in control of their lives in their own home With an easy-going personality Have plenty of common sense to judge how much care each person needs & wants Ability to work diligently to standards set internally by Compassionate Care and externally by the Care Quality Commission
