HR Administrator Location: London Salary: Competitive Salary Job Type: Permanent, Full time About the job This is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate to join our London Head Office Human Resources team (entry-level position). Evergreen Marine (UK) Limited is in charge of developing UK and Ireland markets. The HR Administrator Responsibilities: Objective: * UK cadet recruitment, sea-phase training arrangement and HR related administrative tasks Duties may include some of the following: * Coordinate with local manning agencies and training ships for issues or matters related to UK cadets * Liaise with external concerned parties in relation to Core Training Commitment and training ship under Tonnage Tax Scheme * Manage local manning agencies accounts and payments * Periodical assessment of local manning agencies to ensure that their services and performance continuously meet the company's requirements * Deal with feedback & suggestions received from UK cadets * Research legislation related to job in the seaman section * Assisting with shore based recruitment needs * Assisting with payroll administration * Preparing various HR-related documents * Assist department/section head with ad hock projects Requirements needed for the HR Administrator Role * Previous administrative experience * Good computer skills (Excel - preferably at advanced level, Word, PowerPoint) * Attention to detail is a must * Good organisation, communication and numerical skills * Good problem solving skills * Able to work independently as well as within a team * Good time-management skills * General knowledge of HR/employment law or previous experience in HR field would be of advantage but is not necessary * Genuine interest backed with education in Business/HR or Sociology/Psychology related fields. * Must have the legal right to work in the UK (without sponsorship) If this HR Administrator role is of interest to you, please send us your CV and covering letter stating your preferred salary range.
