Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual, who has a willingness to learn. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the Pharmacy Department at the York Hospital. You will have excellent organisational skills, demonstrate the ability to work independently, and be willing to be adaptable and flexible to meet the needs of the service. We are looking for a colleague who is positive, approachable, friendly, able to work as part of a team but also shows initiative. Key duties will include the following: * Providing administrative support for the recruitment in the Pharmacy Department, using TRAC * Dealing with enquiries from other healthcare professionals via email, phone or in person * General administration to support the service * Organisation of meetings, including room bookings, agenda preparation and minute taking. * Payroll support for the department, including processing monthly salary returns * HR support * Ordering of supplies using the Oracle and NHS Supplies system * Booking of train travel, using Click Travel For further details / informal visits contact: Donna Williams Pharmacy Administration Manager 01904 721375 Donna.williams@york.nhs.uk Employment Type: FULL_TIME
