OVERVIEW As a Senior Accountant , you will be assisting in performing various accounting functions. RESPONSIBILITIES As a Senior Accountant your key duties will include: * Preparing and overseeing the creation of daily, monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements/reports in accordance with the appropriate GAAP * Providing information on balance sheet recs for the assigned entities * Preparing VAT and Corporate tax returns for assigned entities * Maintaining cash flow forecasts * Maintaining the asset registers of assigned companies * Preparing accounting records and schedules appropriate for internal and external auditors and identify any discrepancies * Establishing and maintaining a professional relationship with internal/external customers, team members and department contacts * Training both current and new team members and providing guidance REQUIREMENTS To be considered for the role of Senior Accountant, you must have: * CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualified or finalist * Suitable relevant experience in a large, multinational organisation * Advanced knowledge of Excel * Experience of preparing statutory accounts * Practical working knowledge of UK & US GAAP NEXT STEPS To become a Senior Accountant , apply with your up to date CV.
