Job Description
Our client is a leading provider of home care, providing services throughout the Bexley Borough. Awarded a 'Good' rating by CQC in March 2020, they provide high quality, professional care to people in their own homes. They are currently looking to recruit a Support worker. If you are seeking a role with real job satisfaction, join our client now and benefit from their excellent rate of pay of £9.59 - £10.59 per hour. You will receive an additional 20p per hour if you hold a NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care. There is also pay a contribution towards travel time between care visits at a rate of £2 per hour and 30p per business mile. There are also Zero-hour contracts or contracted hours offered, subject to your availability. Whilst previous care experience is helpful, it is not essential, as you will be provided with the training you require to carry out your role with confidence and a support team who you can access at any time. Our client is seeking people who are: Responsibilities: * Visiting people in their own homes to give companionship and promote independence * Personal care and helping clients to wash and dress * Assistance with medication * Shopping and support with everyday tasks and activities to live fulfilling lives * Light household chores * Meal preparation Requirements: * Kind, caring and wish to make a difference * Reliable and take pride in their work * Have a full UK driving licence and own a vehicle for use at work * Flexible in their approach and able to work a mixture of early mornings, late evenings and alternate weekends * Available to take part in our introductory 5 day training programme (online during Covid 19 pandemic).
