Job Description

To support the new Group organisation, the Healthcare Analytics department has undergone a recent restructure and there are exciting opportunities available to join this team. The Healthcare Analytics department is part of the Planning and Performance Directorate and is comprised of the following functions: Analysis and Reporting, Data Warehousing and Reporting Solutions, Commissioning Information, Insight and Engagement. The Lead Reporting Analysts are responsible for managing and leading the sub teams within the function and ensuring the delivery of high quality support across a wide range of areas within Analysis and Reporting. A vacancy is now available for a Lead Reporting Analyst to manage the sub team of unplanned care, which oversees the area of the emergency dept. same day emergency care, acute medical unit and frailty and patient flow You will ensure the delivery of core functions within the team and will be responsible for contributing to the overall development, efficiency and effectiveness of the team as well as ensuring that information provided is accurate, complete and timely. The team is responsible for the submission of statutory returns, production of regular reporting, analysis and completion of ad hoc data requests for the Group. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic individual who ideally can demonstrate experience leading a team. You will need to have extensive experience of working in an Information environment and experience of extracting, processing and analysing data from different source systems as well as in depth knowledge of writing SQL queries. The successful candidate will be based at our Corporate Hub at Britannia Park, Southend-on-sea but will be required to travel to other sites within the Group on occasion.
