Overview

We are looking for a Java Tech Lead / Software Architect to work with a global consultancy, to be based on site with a Public Sector client in Southend. This will be on a 6 month contract basis paying up to £450 per day (Out Of Scope of IR35). The ideal Java Tech Lead / Software Architect will be eligible to undergo SC Security Clearance. The Java Technical Lead / Software Architect is the point of contact for technical & software architecture and design queries/decisions. Responsibilities will include: Technical Support and lead to developers and technical oversight Prepare Sprints and populate backlog in conjunction with Scrum master Elaborate and clarify technical issues on business features and solution designs (preferably in a Architecture role) Technical Gap analysis on solution designs (preferably in a Architecture role) Low level technical design (preferably in a Architecture role) Support to BA, Scrum Master, Central Architectural function as needed Technologies: Java 8 and 11 Spring Framework Spring Boot building microservices Java experience (Ideally up to date with latest version of Java minimum java 8 plus real experience in Spring and microservices) Development experience (should have had a senior lead java developer role at least 3 years) Microservices experience very useful Interdisciplinary experience very useful Agile experience (Scrum and Kanban) Familiarity with continuous integration, automated tests, iterative delivery Full development lifecycle experience If you would like more information please apply now This job was originally posted as www.totaljobs.com/job/89954313
