Company Description Home Instead Senior Care is the world's leading provider of non-medical care and companionship services for older people. With minimum visits of one hour, award winning training and an excellent reputation we are immensely proud of the quality of care we provide. We match our CAREGivers to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enables us to provide personalised support. We do require our CAREGivers to have transport to enable you to visit clients in locations that are poorly serviced by public transport. Looking after the elderly within our community is very important especially in this day and age where the elderly can be the most vulnerable members of society. As a CAREGiver you have the chance to really make a difference to someone's life, and to ensure their needs are met, be it by assisting with personal care, helping with their shopping or taking them to a social event. We are looking for compassionate, caring, people who have empathy but also common sense, that can laugh or indeed wipe away tears. Who are interested in people and the lives they have led and can have patience and consideration when perhaps they have forgotten they have already told you that. We are looking for people that we would trust to look after our mum's or dad's so if you're that person give me a call and lets have a chat about the opportunities we have available. Qualifications Clear concise spoken communication skills. Ability to work mornings and evening shifts and also to cover some shifts on alternate weekends. Car driver with transport is essential. Willingness to undertake comprehensive training. Ability to be decisive with a responsible attitude to problem solving.
