Job Description

You will currently work as a receptionist - meeting and greeting visitors as well as answering incoming coming calls on a switchboard. Perhaps you are looking for a change in environment, or a busier position? You will also be happy to undertake Administrative duties at quieter times. Blake and Blake Recruitment are pleased to be working with a familiar name in the Bristol area. A company based in Clifton, who are currently seeking an experienced receptionist who is also very happy to undertake admin duties. This role is offered on a Full Time, Permanent basis. Hours of work will be Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm with an hour for lunch. The role will sit alongside one other receptionist and will include a mixture of meeting and greeting, switchboard, admin and hospitality duties. Front of House duties will include: * Meeting any visitors who enter the building, greeting staff as they arrive for work. * Use a MITEL switchboard to answer all incoming calls in a professional, polite and speedy manner. * Ensure the reception area is tidy at all times. * Liaise with departments to be made aware of any visitors. * Issue faxes to relevant staff. * Advise HR of any staff calling in sick. * Manage the carpark diary. * Organise and liaise with couriers * Sort and distribute the post. * Manage the meeting room diary and ensure they are set up prior to meetings. * Order lunches and refreshments when required. * General housekeeping of the reception and meeting room area. Administration duties will include: * Filing * Order stationery. * Mail shots, binding, photocopying and database management - as and when needed (training will be given). * Overflow of typing. Applicants MUST have experience within a similar role, have good IT skills - Word, Outlook and Excel. Be an excellent communicator both over the phone and face to face. You will enjoy working in a team and will be happy to take on the administrative tasks as well as the traditional foh duties. You must be smart, this is a professional environment that will welcome an array of individuals, you will be the initial face of the company when they enter the building. Switchboard experience is needed but not necessarily a MITEL system). Onsite parking isn't available with this role, but public transport links that take you to Clifton Village are close to the office.
