Overview

Opportunity: A consultancy in the centre of Bristol has recently relocated to a new office space and requires a Receptionist and Administrator to support visitors and staff alike from a 'front of house' perspective. You will be the first person that staff and visitors meet so a professional but friendly style combined with excellent communication and interpersonal skills is key. Your Key Responsibilities: Our client work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment that requires a proactive style and the ability to adapt to and embrace change. This role has a wide range of duties, including but not limited to: Meet & Greet staff and visitors, acting as first point of contact. Answer incoming calls / emails and direct enquiries appropriately. Organise and manage meetings and meeting rooms. Track staff / guest movements where appropriate. Manage / order office supplies including stationery. Relevant ad hoc support e.g. reports, spreadsheets, minutes etc. Additional appropriate ad hoc duties as agreed with your line manager. Aspects of the onboarding / new joiner / leave process e.g. passes, accesses etc. To Qualify for the Role you must have: Experience in a professional services environment is preferred. The confidence to engage with senior/high profile contacts and clients and their teams. Attention to detail and ownership for the delivery of high quality work. Ability to build relationships. Ability to work as part of a team, ensuring seamless service to the firm and clients. Ideally, you'll also have: Confident with the ability to use own judgment and make decisions in order to prioritise, challenge, negotiate and influence. The ability to plan ahead and anticipate potential problems. Strong organisational skills with ability to prioritise a busy and often conflicting workload. A flexible and professional approach, remaining calm under pressure.
