Job Description
Senior level UX Designer required Get on board now and be part of an exciting future ! This role is a mixture of home and office based Location. Southampton centre, about a 5-7-minute walk from the train station. Overview I am currently working with one of the fastest growing, dynamic, rapidly expanding, ethical, environmentally caring, non-corporate companies in Southampton. Genuinely the nicest bunch of people! They have doubled in size in the last 12 months and due to double again over the next 12 months. Someone who has the passion and desire to really enhance their career development. We are looking for a talented user experience designer. You will help work out which problems we need to solve as a business and then help solve them. You'll be working with everyone in the business and we will look to you to help drive our product agenda. The tasks as a Senior UX Designer will be: User research Analyse product performance Help define requirements Wireframe solutions Work with stakeholders to get to the right solution Help prioritise which features to build and when Design the user interface and interactions Work with tech to deliver Track the performance of what we deliver Mentor junior team members Help improve processes and quality About you You always have the user at the heart of your thinking. You are a seasoned digital product designer with proven track record delivering user experiences across mobile and desktop. You are a self-starter with a can-do attitude. You have a strong sense of UX and a strict attention to UI details. Design skills are a clear bonus. You've taken part in, or better still, led user research activities and are comfortable talking with customers. You are a good communicator. You have a track record of moving KPIs significantly. You can measure your impact and get down to why things have moved. You are willing to contribute towards the wider product discussion and help us decide what to do and when. You're a team player and value people over process. You don't play politics. You enjoy mentoring more junior team members and helping other people perform. You are organised and can manage your own time. We are especially keen to hear from UX Designers who can boast experiences of being product owners / designers.
