Photo Editing / Retoucher Intern About us Amz Thakrar Photography was originally a dream born in the imagination of a 5 year old boy. The passion and fascination of capturing moments, was rendered from a young age and has grown to be one of the inspirations behind Amit's vision to begin the business. He is now an International Celebrity Fashion and Events Photographer who has experience in all areas of photography from corporate events, weddings, fashion, models and family shoots. Why work for us Amit's photography journey was not a typical one and definitely not a fairy-tale process by any means, but he is a strong believer in positivity, the laws of attraction and seeing the hidden potential in a person that they may not see in themselves and having the ability to capture an image that shows not just the smile on someone's face but also the smile from within their heart. We work informally, as a little family and have a balance between work and play. We want to encourage our team and allow each person to build confidence in themselves and gain experience, and enjoy what they do, fulfilling their personal potential along the way. Job Description As a photo editing/re-toucher intern, you are responsible for the delivery of high quality imagery representative of Amz Thakrar Photography online. This is for 3-6 months work experience initially. Your Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To * Retouch fashion and still life imagery for the website ensuring excellence in quality * Complete ad hoc imagery requests to support other areas of the business * Assist with editorial and marketing imagery for web and social media * Having the responsibility/flexibility to work from home around education or current work. Required knowledge, skills and experience * Minimum of 1 years' experience in basic editing and retouching * Proven administrative experience * Proven ability to multi-task and work to multiple deadlines * Being responsible with time management The Successful Applicant will have * Excellent telephone communication * Team working skills * Passion for photography and fashion * Comprehensive working knowledge of Lightroom, and Adobe Photoshop * The ability to handle daily workloads 1-2 hours a day * The ability to work quickly and efficiently with a strong eye for detail * The ability to be reactive and flexible * Capability to use initiative and show improvement from feedback provided What's on Offer This will be discussed on the phone.
