Job Description
Kyowa Kirin International are looking for a Finance Assistant who will be responsible for all facets of partner sales and assist with inventory accounting within the expanding Group. Key Responsibilities: * Develop and implement controlled sales procedures, policies and tools for partners: order to invoice and discounting * Issuing of sales invoices, credit notes to partners and affiliate companies * Accurate regular maintenance and reconciliation of sales and inventory records within the Group Finance accounting system * Pro-active review of Trade Receivables balances and liaising with stakeholders * Coordinating and aligning all stakeholders in the sales process: partner, country team, franchise teams, finance and supply chain and support development of customer service levels * Support Stock Accountant in month end stock accounting and reconciliations * Liaise with the group's supply chain and affiliates with regard to any stock variances Position Requirements: * Part qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA) * Excellent team player - needs to be able to build and maintain strong relationships with HO (multi functional depts.) and the regional team * Experience of the CEE, GCC/Middle-East regions an advantage but not required * Use of computerised inventory, sales order processing and sales ledger systems * Knowledge of manufacturing and packaging costing methods * Excellent IT skills and abilities - current systems in use Microsoft Dynamics GP, Excel Location: This position is based in Galashiels within the beautiful Scottish Borders; only an hour commute from Edinburgh.
