Job Description Medical Duties Provide onsite routine health care and advice to offshore personnel in line with Iqarus MSOs Provide onsite emergency medical care 24 hours per day in line with Iqarus MSOs Seek appropriate and timely consultation/advice from Topside service and/or the Medical Advisor Arrange any required Medevac cases in accordance with Iqarus and Client site protocols Maintain patient confidentiality at all times, supported with clear and concise medical records in line with Iqarus Records and Record Keeping Policy, also maintain the sickbay attendance log, including Patient information on medications taken and known allergies Complete Medics online 2 (MOL2) consultations as required. Maintain medical confidentiality and data privacy as required by regulatory Complete a comprehensive handover, wherever required, at the end of each trip Ensure all medical equipment and gases are functional, regularly inspected and maintained, including calibration of required items in accordance with manufacturer's guidelines Ensure clinical Occupational health practices undertaken are in accordance with the policies of Iqarus Maintain professional standards in accordance with current legislation and practice professional registration and continuing professional development and client's standards Work in partnership with other health professionals within Iqarus and within the client organization, as applicable, to deliver a quality service and demonstrate and personal commitment Liaise with other management stakeholders; Ensure emergency medical stations are fully stocked and in full working order Maintain and replenish all eye wash stations Respond to medical emergencies, coordinate mobilization of additional resources with topside Participate in emergency response exercises, table tops and drills, and provide review and assurance Maintain an effective medical emergency response plan (MERP) for the platform Declaration of medication to be monitored and complied by Medic Maintain a Controlled Drug Register and store and transport all Controlled Drugs in accordance with UK legislation Lead and train emergency teams and first aiders to ensure an efficient emergency medical response Conduct the Emergency Response Team Members fitness testing Support pandemic response and other disease outbreaks Verify all medical and first aid equipment and supplies are functional and maintained and regularly checked according to manufacturer Develop and maintain stock levels of over the counter medications, prescription medication and maintain clinical waste Safety inductions for all new starts on the platform. Health Planning Implement and promote the Operator Occupational Health Plan in accordance with the Operator SHE&I Plan. Maintain all competencies as are required in order to enable the implementation of the Operator SHE&I Plan. Provide effective wellness advice, guidance and assessment to all Operator and its contractors' personnel and utilise system process as requested. Carry out health promotion training, information, dissemination and provision of advice to offshore workforce Provide effective listening, communication and support to all employees and contractors on the offshore facilities.
