Damco has offices in UK, USA, Netherlands & offshore software development centers in India Job Description Role: Project Manager A mid-senior level Project lead to migrate Quantum environment a critical project for one of our biggest client in Transport/shipping domain. The Individual should be passionate about technology, experienced in developing and managing cutting edge technology applications. Technical Skills: Accurately document technical game plans to allow for the successful support and execution of associated Quantum migrations. Projects may cross platforms, applications, and/or business lines Partner with key Engineering resources from data center, application, network, and database teams to gather and document technical specifications. Works with business partners to gather requirements, design alternatives, and project schedules, for new storage technology migrations. Participate in planning and monitoring of migration scheduling to meet strategic migration timelines. Provides consistent and comprehensive status reports, project updates, significant issue tracking, and communication at the team level. Assist with the review, collaboration, and review to re-engineer technical processes for greater efficiency. Escalates issues to management that cannot be resolved within SLA, providing recommendations for resolution. Analyze metrics on game plans, reschedules, and exceptions, to identify improvement opportunities. Possesses thorough knowledge in all the phases of software development life cycle. Working knowledge in project management procedures including scope, budget and schedule management. Capable of managing the day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large scale projects. Capable of managing the scope keeping the risk levels under control across projects. Capable of implementing engagement reviews and quality assurance procedures ensuring successful execution of the client projects. Possesses the expert knowledge to identify opportunities for change and the ability to convince the need for change.
