Job Description

Overview SOSI, LLC is currently looking for experienced TS/SCI cleared Field Service Engineers to join our team in Molesworth, UK. We are a defense contracting company that is privately owned servicing the US Department of Defense. Responsibilities + Provide Tier I and II support at remote field and Garrison sites. + Under general direction, install, troubleshoot, and maintain products/equipment. + Train employees, identify, analyze, and repair product failures, order and replace parts as needed. + Determine and recommend which products or services best fit the MPE customers' needs. + Read and interpret blueprints and schematic drawings to determine work required. + Troubleshoot problems at MPE customer sites and communicate to the MPE Chief Engineer. + Work collaboratively with other technicians, supervisors and engineers in the MPE PMO and at customer site. + Communicate functional system requirements and manage corresponding customer expectations of an installation. + Communicate functional system changes to the software group, that are stated/implied by the customer. + Configure/set-up system hardware and perform hardware diagnostics when problems occur. + May oversee field service personnel who perform on-site routine services including installation, maintenance, and repair. + May manage scheduling and training of additional field service representatives. Qualifications REQUIRED: + A Bachelor's degree (or the equivalent years' of experience) and a minimum of five (5) years' of specialized relevant experience. + An Active in-scope TS/SCI clearance. + DoD 8570.01 IAT level I compliant (e.g. CompTIA Network+CE, A+CE, Security+CE, etc). + Prior experience supporting MNIS/MPE DESIRED: + ITIL v3 certified Working Conditions The work is typically performed in an office environment, which requires normal safety precautions; work may require some physical effort in the handling of light materials, boxes or equipment .The work location is a government facility located on a military installation in Molesworth, UK supporting a DoD customer. The successful applicant will be working for and reporting directly to the prime contractor or the DoD customer as appropriate.
