Field Service Technician

Our client is looking for Field Service Technician:

Requirements: 

Associate's Degree in Engineering discipline or certificates from a Technical School in Mechanics or Electronics

Previous experience and expertise in Electronics or Mechatronics to service construction machinery

Mechanical aptitude required 

Excellent verbal and written communication skills 

Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications 

Good problem-solving abilities, proactive, fast learner, good organizational and time management skills, positive attitude

Driver’s license

Responsibilities:

Visit customers in every part of Guyana and eventually internationally

Troubleshoot machines in the company’s warehouse or in the fields of any region of Guyana

Analyze reasons for machine shutdowns

Read electric and hydraulics’ drawings and diagrams

Train users or operators

Use appropriate tools to measure if components are damaged

Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair a broad range of mechanical systems and equipment including hydraulic, pneumatic, lubrication, power transmission systems, conveyors, and mobile equipment

Provide assistance in operating functions as necessary
