MIS & Data Manager Reports To: Operations Director Location: Head Office, Hammersmith (Remote working available, with regular travel to the office) Salary: 35,000 - 40,000 Hours: 40 Hours p/w About LMP Group LMP Group focuses on education, training and social impact; working together to bring about positive, sustainable change. Job Purpose As the MIS & Data Manager, you would work from head office and be responsible for managing and overseeing a smooth running of the entire MIS function and all relevant systems. You will work closely with the Operations Director and our MIS Consultant to create efficiencies where necessary, liaise with internal and external departments and produce key reports for senior management and Directors. You will be a self-starter and be able to reach well informed and clear decisions. You will hold excellent organisation, communication and administration skills. Responsibilities: * Developing and producing key reports for management within a timely manner. * Perform periodic maintenance and servicing of MIS system to improve efficiency. * Understand funding mechanisms and the role that MIS play in ensuring accurate draw down payments. * Work with employers to facilitate the DAS system for apprentices, ensuring that the data is accurate and timely * Develop and map processes improvements for increased efficiency and cost effectiveness. * Recommend and implement new technology solutions to improve productivity. * Develop and implement standardized MIS procedures across business applications. * Monitor MIS team performance regularly to avoid unplanned outages/down time. * Comply with all legislative and regulatory requirements. * Regulate and monitor quality control. * Act in compliance with relevant statutory provisions, policies and procedures and regulations of both the organisation and its monitoring authorities. * Provide support in all aspects of ESFA funding both internally and externally. * Attend funding related external conferences/webinars as required and provide knowledge transfer back into the organisation. * Regular auditing and spot checking of paperwork and key data. * Provide funding and reconciliation reporting as required. * Maintain regular contact with Enrolment and Sales teams regarding any learner compliance issues. * Ensure key knowledge of the funding rules and keep up to date with changes. * Generate error reports and work with Head of MIS & Compliance to enable timely upload of funding data to the DAS system. * Be proactive in searching for more efficient and effective ways to do things. * Manage, coach and regularly meet with a small, but growing, MIS team Additional Responsibilities * Foster and further develop in LMP a culture of excellence and accountability. * Where business needs change, to undertake other responsibilities which are of a commensurate level outside the terms of this role profile. This may include supporting other programmes especially during our busy Summer period. * To act within the laws of England & Wales. * To meet all the requirements of regulatory bodies, Ofsted and the ESFA Experience * Ideally, 5+ years' experience within a similar post * Experience with PICS is essential * Managing your own diary and responsibilities * Knowledge of the Apprenticeship or Education sector * Able to uphold a strict level of confidentiality * Degree educated (Preferable) * Ability to take full responsibility and accountability * Open, engaging and resilient. * Highly motivated, challenging situations with tenacity and enthusiasm * Adapt approach to achieve success and with the ability to shrug off criticism and disappointments and to start again Confidentiality The post holder must maintain the confidentiality of information about clients, staff and other LMP stakeholders.
