Job Description

The Head of Commercial Partnerships is responsible for building and developing relationships with corporate organisations at a senior level, in order to create a strong portfolio of business partner relationships from the higher education industry, B2C and B2B suppliers, as well as luxury brands. Our client is a unique global brand in the executive education sector, being a membership organisation, business school accrediting association and employer partnership organisation. The Head of Commercial Partnerships will manage existing relationships and bring in new clients leading to the generation of new income streams to support and enhance the client's ambitious projects and growth in all areas of the business. Growth has already been significant with membership escalating rapidly over the past four years. Though primarily a commercial/ sales role, the position includes the management of 2 people so management skills are also sought. Key Tasks : * Lead on maintaining relationships with existing annual partners and sponsors * Consistent and regular contact with partners and sponsors to keep on top of their current situation, needs and expectations * Managing the delivery of what is contractually agreed, through constant monitoring of activities * Holding high level discussions on the potential growth of the relationship by involving them in new activities, e.g. additional events, both physical and online, content provision, cobranded research and marketing activities * Managing the renewal of contracts from negotiation stage to final agreement, sometimes through challenging and difficult conversations with senior executives Remuneration of £51,000 (no commission, instead the base is high). Requirements Skills, Knowledge and Experience sought * Project management of the A to Z of partnership/sponsorship programmes, from stakeholder identification to engagement and activation of partnership/sponsorship * Develop and manage corporate sponsorship relationships and build and enhance the client's corporate reach globally * Grow the value proposition to the corporate sector to create viable and sustainable services and develop new revenue streams for the organisation * Proactive approach to business development * Ability to negotiate deals with senior-level executives and B2B and B2C suppliers
