Payroll Separation Lead 18-month fixed term contract We have a brand new role for a Global Payroll Separation Lead for an 18-month fixed term contract working closely with our global HR Transformation & Readiness team for Consumer Healthcare and Global Process Owner Payroll to prepare for the separation of the Consumer Healthcare business. Reporting to the HR Director - HR Readiness, you will lead the payroll workstream to successfully deliver payroll solutions in preparedness for separating the Consumer Healthcare business. Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Lead the discovery and design, in consultation with Payroll GPO of the payroll strategy for CH business; * Develop the payroll separation implementation plan; * Lead the execution of the payroll separation workstream working with global and local cross-functional leads and the business stakeholders to deliver the implementation plan per market; * Manage Payroll PMO Team/Consultants; * Onboard and lead a team of regional implementation leads; * Project manage the payroll separation plans through monitoring, measuring progress, and identifying and mitigating potential risks globally and locally; and * Manage crisis or issue resolution through the project as new challenges are identified. About You: You will be a highly specialised payroll expert who has ideally led global or large-scale payroll transformation projects. You will be familiar working with global complexities have varied project experience to bring to the role. To be successful in this role you will need to be able to show resilience, with the ability to make decisions at pace based on complex information sources, be a passionate problem solver and able to drive projects forward. You will be confident in building relationships with various stakeholders across the organisation with the ability to influence with well-developed and communicating skills both in written and verbal form. You are likely to have experienced one or more blue chip multinational organisations where change is complex and fast-moving and have led large transformational payroll projects. What else are we looking for? * Payroll SME, with 5 years' experience of managing teams and/or PM of Payroll projects * Demonstrated project development and management for one or more blue chip multinational organisations where change is complex and fast-moving * Able to take responsibility to deliver against demanding projects or initiatives and meets criteria of time, cost, quality and performance. * Excellent communication, promotional, influencing and stakeholder management skills * Strong decision making based upon sound flexible thinking and calculated risk * Demonstrated crisis and issue management Company Details: GlaxoSmithKline is a science-led global healthcare company that researches and develops a broad range of innovative medicines and brands.
