Our home care avoids this, and our CAREGivers allow older people to live long and happy lives, whilst promoting their autonomy and independence. Do you want to make a real difference to someone's life? Qualifications Have you ever picked up a prescription for a friend or accompanied someone to the doctor? What about helping someone at your local community hall or church group? Or, have you simply just lent your ear to a friend or offered a shoulder to lean on when somebody has needed some emotional support? Becoming a CAREGiver is simply all those things that you do to enhance the quality of life for seniors and to help keep them independent in their own home. With Home Instead, care means quality care. It means providing support that is completely personalised to the individual and is based on a close bond formed from personality similarities, shared experiences or interests and minimum one-hour visits. Because of this, you can help children of ageing parents know that their loved ones remain safe and well, and cared for at home. You can deliver a rewarding experience to people who may be lonely or require a bit of extra support to retain their independence. Additional Information If you have a passion for caring and the motivation to help us achieve our ambitions, we would love to hear from you. No previous care experience needed! We are especially looking for someone who is flexible and has access to reliable transport to cover calls in the morning and evening hours when most of our clients want to get up and ready for the day or get safely back into bed at night. We provide industry-leading training and all the support needed to get you started. Our pay rates vary from 10.00 to 11.00 per hour.
