IT SOC Analyst (2nd Line) - Manchester - up to 48,000 Looking after the internal security. Responsibilities * Identifying hacks * Handling investigations * Initial Triage * Containment * Monitoring Systems Skills & Qualifications * Splunk (or similar) * Tanium (or similar) * Managing alerts * Malware Analysis (Analysis of documents/ malicious binaries/ understanding and interpreting results of Sandbox output) * Contain service attacks * Source Fire Alerts * Network Based Attacks/ Incidents (DDoS/ IDS Alerts) * Containment (Understanding of containment of security incidents both at the network and host layer) * Digital Forensics (Basic understanding of key concepts from a host & Malware perspective, rather than eDiscovery/ Litigation forensics) * Intelligence (Basic understanding of using actionable intelligence for detecting malicious activity/ not looking for an intelligence analyst) Benefits * Great Pension * Parking * Training This is the brief description of the role, for the full information, simply apply to the role and I will call you to discuss.
