Job Description

The Technical Reporting Accountant is a new role within the EMEA accounting organisation. It is a key role bringing up to date technical ability (including revenue and leasing standards) into the team and will be responsible for monthly and year end accounting in both local and US GAAP. You'll divide your time between developing relationships, managing reporting processes & working on various projects. You will work closely with key resources within Cornerstone to ensure that you and the finance team are well-supported and successful. To be a good fit for this position you'll have at least 3-5 years of experience and an established background in financial accounting and working with group companies which will be the key to the success of this position. You will have the opportunity to add value to the financial reporting environment whilst driving change and improvements to provide efficiencies. Finally, you'll need the professional maturity and savvy to manage and prioritise your time, work autonomously as a remote employee, and interact effectively with business and financial professionals internally and externally. This position will report to the Senior Reporting Manager for EMEA based in the UK. Monthly consolidation of circa 30 legal entities within the Libra group (multiple countries & currencies) Monthly inter-company and balance sheet review with Cornerstone/Saba group post the recent acquisition Setting up and maintain a process to collate the monthly adjustments for leasing standards under local and US GAAP Capex reporting Project work in relation to the integration of Oracle to NetSuite Process improvement and policy implementation The production of annual accounts for UK entities You've got what it takes if you have... Qualified as an accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) with 3-5 years PQE Advanced excel skills Previous experience of working in a multiple currency & GAAP environment Experience of working on group accounts across EMEA Previous experience of working with Oracle and/or Netsuite is desirable Effective critical thinking and analytical skills, proven ability to simplify complicated matters, resilient and able to work to deadlines under pressure, proactive, collaborative problem solver.
