Senior Data Engineer - Central Manchester - Up to 55,000 I am currently working with a data-driven organisation within the Property and Estate industry, who are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer with AWS experience to join their current team. This position is based in the Northern Quarter within Manchester city centre, with multiple transport options for easy commute. This company is an award winning organisation, including recognition awards for utilising Data to the maximum for clients this year. They work with multiple reputable clients within the industry and look to increase this over time. This ambitious company are looking to grow within the next year, with large projects underway and multiple future goals within the data and analytics space. You will have the opportunity to work on multiple end-to-end green field projects, including the development and build of entire data Platform solutions. The main technologies you will use are AWS, Python and a range of ETL and Dev-ops tools. You will have the opportunity to learn Machine Learning/AI tools as the project develops into the scientific cycle. The current data team is small, yet efficient with the opportunity to progress quickly as they grow the team over the next year. As a senior engineer, you will have the chance to mentor junior colleagues and work directly with the head of data to support future business development. Skills required (Not all are needed) * Strong experience using AWS * Previous experience in a Dev-Ops environment using Docker, ElasticSearch * Coding experience in Python * Experience with hands on Data Modelling * Exposure to Data science/Machine learning tools This is a salaried position, paying up to 55,000.
