We match our CAREGivers to our clients based on mutual interests and hobbies to help build bonds of trust and enables us to provide personalised support. We do require our CAREGivers to have transport to enable you to visit clients in locations that are poorly serviced by public transport. Job Description We are living in very challenging times and are looking for people who can meet these challenges head on, with a smile, compassion, and a positive outlook. You need common sense, an ability to reassure the elderly and vulnerable people you will be caring for and the desire to really make a difference. We are seeking people who wish to make a career out of caring and we undertake to help you gain professional qualifications that can take you on the path to success by training you, mentoring you and giving you every encouragement. We need people who are happy to work a mixture of shifts each week between 8.00am - 2.00pm and 4.00pm - 10.00pm, these times are not set in stone we can work flexibly too. You have to be able to cover shifts on alternate week-ends, after all CAREGiving covers 365 days a year and we need people who understand this. You must also have your own transport to enable you to get to the clients who can live in isolated areas not well serviced by public transport. Qualifications Very good and clear spoken communication skills are required as some clients have dementia and also hearing loss and they need to be able to understand you. In addition you must be a car driver, to enable you to visit multiple clients and also to be able to take clients to appointments, shopping and social events.
