You should be a committed, dynamic, motivated professional having excellent assessing skills, the ability to prioritise your work and be a good communicator. Recent experience of working in a similar environment would be an advantage. Awareness of Community Nursing, the effects of ill health, the ageing process and a basic level of IT literacy are an essential requirement. The post will be based at either Dorchester Hospital or St Leonards Community Hospital. We would consider partial night working hours which can be discussed at interview. The post holder will need to hold a full UK driving licence and have the ability to travel by car as they will be required to monitor patients in their own homes and other community settings. As a key member of the team you will find the experience challenging, rewarding and varied. Employment in this post requires an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. The DBS levies a charge of 40 and the Trust will recover this cost in instalments from your first 3 salary payments. This will only apply to candidates who are new to the Trust and not internal staff. Applicants who subscribe to the DBS update service and are able to present a valid DBS certificate will not incur a charge.
