Job Description

The Project Manager will be focused on delivering approved programmes of work, ensuring that solutions provide benefits at both central Bank and Business Unit level. Projects should be managed to approved deadlines and budgets with proactive stakeholder engagement, risk/issue/dependency and resource management. Project managers should comply with all Bank and Business Unit policies and provide regular updates to PMO and sponsors. Key Responsibilities: * Project initiation including deployment of appropriate governance (aligned to Bank PMO policy) * To ensure project plans are developed and agreed by all key stakeholders; * To ensure that assigned projects are managed in line with both Central and Business Unit PMO policies and methodology (including appropriate documentation) * To comply with the prescribed change management policy; * To effectively plan and manage assigned projects, ensuring delivery within agreed budget and timescales through all stages of the project lifecycle; * To plan and co-ordinate the engagement of all project resources including business resources and vendor/external resources; * To proactively lead project resources to ensure that they are working efficiently and achieving the objectives set for them; * To ensure that risks and issues are identified, reported, owned and managed through to resolution; * To schedule the project, allocate tasks and direct Analysts and project staff as appropriate to delivery projects to time, cost and quality.
