We exist to ensure Teachers and Lecturers feel fully supported when planning and organising educational travel for their students, so that young people can access the best experiential learning opportunities to support both their academic and personal development. Job Description As a Tour Planner for European Study Tours, you will work closely with your customers to ensure their dream educational tour is realised. Working with a range of Teachers and Lecturers, you will put the best itineraries in place to deliver the educational and personal development opportunities that can only be gained through our exceptional learning outside the classroom opportunities. This involves; * ensuring that all accommodation and travel arrangements are in place, * giving advice to your customers on safety, visas, insurance and other travel requirements, * coordinating and arranging visits, meal plans, and other activities, and * making sure your clients have everything they need to make their educational tours run as smoothly as possible. In addition you will work closely with your colleagues to grow our business, ensuring that our customers travel with us year after year and have positive things to say about their experiences of working with us. This requires strong communication skills (verbal, writing), decision making, organisational skills, change management and adaptability, as well as demonstrating our core values of teamwork, customer first, respect, action, learning and fun! Qualifications We are looking for individuals with a strong background in telephone based customer service and administration. Previous experience of working in the travel industry would be helpful, but not essential, as through our expectations maps programme, we will help you develop the knowledge and skills to be successful.
