Job Description

Kidderminster College is a thriving college in the heart of the West Midlands. In August 2014 the College joined Newcastle College Group (NCG), one of the largest education and training providers in the country. To meet our ambition of delivering an exciting and outstanding educational experience, we need an enthusiastic and inspiring teacher in Travel and Tourism. This post provides an excellent opportunity for a teacher with enthusiasm and drive who is committed to lively, student-centered teaching. The post will be to teach Travel and Tourism from levels Level 1 to Level 3. The successful candidate will be able to teach English, maths and IT to a level 2 standard. We welcome applications from experienced or aspiring teachers who either hold a teaching qualification and a relevant degree or who are experienced in industry and willing to work towards teaching qualifications. The successful candidate will need to have a flexible approach, be independent and proactive, coupled with excellent organisational and interpersonal skills. You will have strong communication skills and be able to negotiate with a diverse range of stakeholders, both internal and external to the organisation.
