We are currently seeking transferee Detective Constables to help us keep it this way. We currently have a number of opportunities for Detective Constables who are interested in working in the Organised Crime Unit based within the York / Selby district. This is an exciting and unique opportunity for PIP level 2 Detective Constables to join a fast paced environment offering daily challenges, as well as varied development opportunities. Candidates must be able to demonstrate a proactive and dedicated approach to the role with strong investigative ability relative to current experience. Strong team working, high ethics and effective communication are essential. The successful applicant will join a team which plays a key role in targeting Serious and Organised Crime, assisting in the performance of specific operations, while adhering to best practice in respect of Criminal Investigation, with particular emphasis on RIPA and IPA Legislation and covert policing techniques. The successful candidate will be required to go through vetting to MV level.
