Job Description

We have an opportunity for a Security Officer to provide support to a variety of our clients across the Reading area. One of the sites you may be required to cover would be Reading Train Station. It's a varied role where you will get to see a range of different sites and customers - the role duties would change depending on the site requirements however duties could include: * Greeting staff and visitors, ensuring they adhere to the required security protocols * Conducting searches where required * Patrolling the premises and dealing with security incidents * Stopping antisocial behaviour (train station specific) * Monitoring CCTV Pay rate will vary dependant on the site and shift you will be working at and will range between 8.76 - 10.50. Working hours will include 06:00 - 18:00 and 18:00 - 06:00. There may also be occasions where you will work 05:00 to 00:00. The Ideal Candidate You will need to be aged 18 or over, a confident communicator who is a team player with the drive to provide a friendly and professional service at all times. A good IT knowledge is also key, You must be flexible and available to work on a varied shift pattern which will include days, nights and weekends. It would be a benefit to have from some security experience and your SIA licence, however it's not essential, as we provide full SIA (Security Industry Authority) licence training. As this is a mobile position, you will also need to have a full clean driving licence and your own transport.
