dunnhumby is looking for a talented Regional Technical Account Director! You will liaise with key senior client stakeholders to lead the successful technical implementation of our data platform and/or software products in order to provide a high quality and professional delivery of our products and services. This role will be accountable for the end-to-end technical realisation of the services and products dunnhumby sells in the region. What you'll be doing: Responsible for creating and implementing the strategy for the Region. Ensure the smooth technical implementations of our products and services in the Region, following up on delivery and conducting quality reviews as necessary. Lead, coach and develop a high performing regional team of Technical Account experts, managing performance evaluations and ensuring team members have individual development plans and the required training they need to succeed. Lead data exploration assessment and audit for key clients with senior IT stakeholders in the client organization to fully understand client data/ systems and plan data required to support the engagement. Own Chief Information Officer /Chief Technology Officer level relationships to articulate required data plans as part of dunnhumby's overall engagement. Act as subject matter expert answering complex data related inquiries from key internal and external client stakeholders: use own subject matter expertise to ensure that data and technology provision is fit for purpose. Use data and technology expertise to articulate and recommend the best options to outline the data roadmap and resolve the most complex data issues/problems: including writing out or reviewing Technical Solutions Architecture diagrams aligned to our global standards. Lead the documentation and presentation of data and technology requirements to appropriate Leadership Teams within dunnhumby, and client steer committees to assure roadmap/delivery plans. Create and manage service provision, Service Level Agreements (SLA's) and data issues with client data providers, including acting as an escalation point to ensure swift issue resolution (in conjunction with the data management team). Establish differing standards for non-standard situations and drive these through to execution. Collate and lead input in to overall product deployment process design and core technology roadmap based on findings from client interfaces. Technical Pre-Sales - Work with dunnhumby Client Leadership, Analysis, Products and Capability teams to understand proposed scope of work to ensure dunnhumby data solution & products and client IT meet the requirements: attend commercial prioritisation and critical business development meetings with clients. As part of the global leadership team, actively work with the team to drive global best practice and continuous improvement. Actively demonstrate the dunnhumby values. What you'll need: * Extensive experience within Commercial IT & analytics or in an international Technical Consulting company. * Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Information Technology or related field. * Experience querying and investigating data in any flavor of SQL. * Experience with modern and traditional data warehousing and data processing technologies and concepts (Hadoop, PySpark, Hive, RDBMS). * Experience with data engineering concepts and technologies. * Some experience working in distributed computing * Experience with specific Cloudera and/or HortonWorks implementations * Experience with Cluster frameworks * Experience with PaaS * Industry Standard Configuration and Release / Deployment Process * Data Architecture & Modelling * Cloud Infrastructure, Management and Hosting * SQL A plus if you also have: * Master's degree in Business, Information Technology, or Analytics. * MBA or similar.
