Job Description Apply by: 20 December 2013 Start date: Immediate Reporting to: EICT Lead Work place: Woking, UK * Ensure that the engineering scope of work and relevant technical requirements as defined in Company requirements are implemented. * To maintain and follow up requirements, specifications, design and supply of control and safety system (SAS) and technical networks for the production facilities, ensuring that it meets project objectives, industry standards and best practice for safety, reliability and cost. * Ownership of relevant specifications within SAS. * Monitor design and quality for all control and safety system (SAS) for the project * Selection of the best technical/economical solutions and products for the relevant systems * Relevant system overall design integrity and compliance with national and international standards, company guidelines and engineering best practices * Ensure follow up of the engineering work performed by contractors is in accordance with defined requirements including QA and QC audits, design reviews and participate in Contractors discipline meetings as agreed with contractors. * Prepare and update as required the technical documents forming the framework for engineering to be performed by contractors, i.e. Design Basis, Functional requirements and other Company requirement documents * Ensure specific attention to NCS regulation compliance * Ensure that all necessary engineering documentation is reviewed and commented regarding technical integrity and compliance with project requirements. * Responsible for that project standards and Company requirements are incorporated into procedures and project documents * Follow up of vendor and subcontractor with regard to scope, schedule and cost. Qualifications * University degree in engineering or equivalent in relevant engineering discipline(s) * Extensive experience with engineering, use, programming and application of Control systems within the following fields, ESD, PSD, PDCS, F&G and PCS. * Wide experience with implementation of IO (Integrated Operations) * Minimum 5 years' experience from similar work in execution of large EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction) projects * Applied best available technology principles * Project Engineering systems/tools * Applied NCS related requirements and use of Hazid and Hazop * IT tools such as Pims, ProArc, MS Office.... * Fluent in English, verbal and written Additional Information * Proactive and positive attitude as a team member * Apply best engineering practises with quality, risk management and activities * Network effectively and possess good communication skills within- and outside the project * Be aware of the broader perspective and how it affects the project Intrigued by a fascinating challenge?
